lankAprAkAranirbhEdI rAmaH pAtu katiM mama |
UrU karikarOrurmE chArubANadhanurdharaH || 13 ||

lankAprAkAra – the boundary of lanka
nirbhEdI – one who broke
rAmaH – Lord rAma
pAtu – protect
katiM – waist
mama – mine
UrU – thigh
karika – elephant
raH – possessing
UrU – thigh
mE – my
chAru – elegant
bANa – arrow
dhanuH – bow
dharaH – wielding

O Lord rAma! the One who broke the boundary wall of lankA city, please protect my waist.

O Lord, the One who is wielding the great bow and arrows, the One who possesses thighs like those of elephants, (please protect) my thighs.

 

shlOka number 14

jrumbhirAvaNasainyAbdhikumbhasambhavakOTidhUH |
jAnunI vruttavilasajjAnuyogmO mamAvatuH || 14 ||

jrumbhi – expanding/vast
rAvaNa – dashakaNTa
sainya – army
abdhi – ocean
kumbhasambhava – sage agastya
kOTi – (edge of the) bow
dhU – shaken off
jAnunI – knees
vrutta – circular
vilasat – glittering
jAnu – knee
yugma – pair
mama – mine
avatu – protect

O Lord rAma! the One who with the edge of His bow, given by sage agastya, blew away the expanding ocean like army of rAvaNa, the One whose knees are circular and glittering, please protect the two knees of mine

 

shlOka number 15

kumbhakarNAdinirbhangadambhOlisamasAyakaH |
janghE tungEbhadantAbhAjanghAyugmOSavatu prabhuH || 15 ||

kumbhakarNAdi – kumbhakarna and others
nirbhanga – destroyed
dambhOli – indra’s vajrayudha
sama – equivalent
saayakaH – arrow
janghE – shank (portion from knee to ankle)
tungE – strong
ibha – elephant
danta – tusk
AbhA – luminance
janghA – shank
yugmaH – pair
avatu – protect
prabhuH – Lord

O Lord rAma! the One who destroyed kumbhakarna and other rakshasas with arrows that were like Indra’s vajrayudha, the One who has shanks that look like the luminous ivory tusks of a strong elephant, please protect the two shanks of mine.
