madhyaM krushalasanmadhyaH pAtu vAlyangabhEdanaH || 10 ||

uraskaH – having chest
tAla – palm tree
Atma – having soul
asura – asuras
khanDanaH – destroyed
madhyaM – mid-region
krusha – thin
lasat – glitter
madhyaH – mid-region
pAtu – protect
vAli – vAnara king vAli
anga – limb
bhEdanaH – broke

O Lord rAma! the One who destroyed the asuras residing in the palm trees, the One who has a great chest, please protect my chest.

O Lord! the One who broke the limb of vAli, the One who has glittering and thin mid region (abdomen), please protect my abdomen.

 

shlOka number 11

darbhashaayee vibhuh pAtu valIstrivalipallavaH |
tanUdaraH pAtu kukshiM krutasEturmahArNavE || 11 ||

darbha – darbha grass
shAyee – slept
vibhuH – Lord, King
pAtu – protect
valee – fold
tri – three
vali – fold
pallava – tender
tanu – lean
udara – abdomen
pAtu – protect
kukshiM – stomach
kruta – made
sEtuH – bridge
mahA – great
ArNavE – for the ocean

O Lord rAma! the King of the Universe who slept on the mat made of darbha, the One who has three fine folds of skin (on the abdomen), please protect my skin.

O Lord! the One who made a bridge on the great ocean, the One who has a lean abdomen, please protect my abdomen.

 

shlOka number 12

nimnanAbhiH prabhuH pAtu nAbhiM kapichamUpatiH |
pItAmbaraH sphuratkAnchIdyOtamAnakaTidvayaH || 12 ||

nimna – deep
nAbhiH – navel
prabhuH – Lord
pAtu – protect
nAbhiM – navel
kapi – vaanara
chamU – army
patiH – leader/lord
pItAmbaraH – auspicious golden hue clothes
spurat – quivering
kAnchI – waist/girdle
dyOta – brilliant
mAna – having
kaTi – hips
dvayaH – two

O Lord rAma! the One who is the leader of the army of vaanaras, the One who has a very deep and auspicious navel, please protect my navel.

O Lord! the One whose waist is decorated with brilliant (shining) and quivering pItAmbara clothes, (please protect the) two hips of mine.
