Q: Who is that person who, though he enjoys through all his senses, and is liked by the world and is breathing, is still not alive?

A: He who does not offer anything to the five viz Gods, Guests, Servants, Pitris and Self, is not alive even though he is breathing

Q: What is more heavier (carries more weight) than the Earth?

A: One’s mother carries more weight than Earth

Q: What is higher than the heavens?

A: One’s father is higher than the heavens

Q: What is faster than the Wind?

A: The mind is faster than the Wind

Q: What is more numerous than grass?

A: Thoughts are more numerous than grass

Q: What does not close its eyes even when asleep?

A: Fish does not close its eyes even when asleep

Q: What does not move even after birth?

A: An egg does not move even after birth

Q: What does not have a heart?

A: A stone does not have a heart

Q: What swells due to its own impetus?

A: A river swells due to its own impetus

Q: Who is the friend of one in exile?

A: For one in exile, his companion is his friend

Q: Who is the friend of the householder?

A: Wife is the friend of the householder

Q: Who is the friend of an ailing person?

A: The physician is the friend of the ailing person

Q: Who is the friend of a person about to die?

A: Charity is the friend of a person about to die
