Dwadasha Stotra – 8

  1. He is worshipped by even those, such as Brahma and others, who themselves are worshipped by all. His shoulders are laced with sandal paste and are long and nice. He is offered Arathi by the glance of the corner of the eyes of Indira. His strong arms have the nature of lifting the Mandara mountain.  We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  2. The activities like creation and destruction are His sporting nature. His very nature is composed of auspicious and perfect attributes like Aishwarya, Veerya, and others.  His very occupation is complete destruction of evil people. He is the peaceful resort for those satvik people who are full of knowledge and devotion. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  3. He is the one who satisfies the requests of great devotees. His feet are the ones that grant non-material and true pleasure to those who bow with devotion. He is the true reason behind the various life-forms. Those who are well versed in the Vedas are propagating the Truth asking “Doesn’t Hari exist? He does exist. It is wrong to say he doesn’t”. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  4. He is the One who is always worshipped by the chief Brahmins who are always immersed in the analysis of the Vedas. He is the One who is always worshipped by the valorous emperors of the Universe. He is the One who is beyond our comprehension, the One who is full of knowledge and One without any defects. He is the source of light, the One who doesn’t age, the very personification of joy, the Supreme!. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  5. There is no one in this Universe who can exceed Him. All the noble ones believe in Him and follow Him. He is the Lord who has everyone under His control. His wish never goes unsatisfied. He has no equals, no superiors. He is the Supreme. The wise ones praise Him through the Vedas. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  6. He destroys the sadness of those who see Him in their hearts. He is worshipped by Brahma, Indra and others so that they can see Him and keep seeing Him. He is always unreacheable to those evil people who are bound to get destroyed. He easily comes under the control of noble people and acts according to their wish. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  7. Brahma, the first born, is His dear son. All the auspicious attributes have taken on the form of His body. Rudra, who comes before Indra, is His grandson. He is the primordial Lord who is worshipped by all noble people. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  8. He is One without any defects and has all auspicious attributes. He is always full (perfect, complete). He is the One addressed by the supreme and infinite words of the Vedas. He is the One without birth and he is the One worshipped by even Brahma and Rudra. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  9. He is always the bearer of the entire Universe. He is the destroyer of sadness for those who meditate upon Him. He is the doer of all those activities which are impossible for others to do. He is the reason behind the actions of all people. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  10. All the sins of devotees, who are clean-hearted, are washed away by the daily remembrance of His name. He is the one who has given the appropriate positions to Brahma, Rudra and others. The noble ones always perform their daily duties in order to please Him. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  11. He grants infinite results to those who offer their noble deeds to Him. Mere remembrance of His name destroys all the sins. He does not have any end, He never ages, He is eternally free. His stomach is the abode of the entire Universe. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods
  12. We, having the name of Nanditheertha, having happiness and always concentrating on the Lord, offer our prayers to Him. He gives happiness and bliss to the assembly of Gods by a mere smiling glance from the corner of His eyes. We will try to please Lord Hari who is the greatest jewel amongst the assembly of Gods.
