During mahabharatha war , Vyasaraj was born as Balhika elder brother of shantanu, he was older than Bheeshma, He had to fight with Bheemasena . Raising weapons (732 times) against Guru Vayu is an unpardonable crime, to mitigate it ,as vyasaraja he installed 732 idols as Hanuman.
He donated his divine chariot to Bheemasena while breathing his last.(vide:golden rathotsava for Shri Raghavendra of Mantralayam)

Would you mind if I provided a link to your blog from mine?

Namaskara Shri Hariprasad ,
I am really very happy to see a blog like yours , simple for the beginners, usually in the heat of expertise we just forget to address common, lay man . Your blog addresses this very aptly . It would be a pleasure to have my blog added as a link . kindly go ahead .

Chiraan
Namaskara Sri Chiraan,
Its interesting to read your comment because that is the exact purpose I had in mind when I started to write about Sri Madhva’s philosophy in my blog.
I strongly feel a lot of people have latent interest in these topics but lack the inertia to get started. I am hoping I can contribute a bit by paraphrasing some of the messages of our Shastras in an interesting way that could act as a trigger to at least a few people.
Once someone gets started, how much of the journey he covers and how far he reaches is, of course, entirely up to him/her.
The aim of my “Did You Know..” series is also the same.
Regards, Hari
